On Mori Point
Surfboards on a fence
the sea is calm today
and thus, so are we
We sit, backs cradled by the bench
and talk of tonight, and tomorrow,
but not of yesterday
We are not ready
to speak of yesterday
Tony Press lives near San Francisco. He writes fiction when he has questions, and poetry when he thinks he has answers; thus, mostly fiction. Look for his recent story collection, Crossing the Lines (Big Table) in some wonderful bookstores, on that Amazon place, and even in a box near his desk, and also his e-chapbook of poems, Equinox and Solstice (Right Hand Pointing).
