ICE cold
staying cold-hearted but they want more ice,
Grinding bones under glass, calling it “justice”
while the cracks in the pavement swallow our names.
Paper rules like shackles,
Signed with pens dipped in apathy,
Screams filed under “inconvenience.”
They profit off pain, counting hours,
not hearts.
They want order, they want control,
but all they harvest is fear
a frost that bites deeper than steel.
We are statistics, ghosts in the ledger,
our grief a currency they never owe,
our anger a fire they try to smother
with icy bureaucracy and hollow titles.
But frost fractures. Ice breaks.
Every ignored plea, every stolen life,
adds heat beneath the concrete.
One day, that cold heart will shatter,
and we will reclaim the warmth
they tried to bury.
