I am dreaming
In Wim Wenders perfect black and white while listening to the saddest music ever. Angels in long black coats are listening to my thoughts. I am walking past pubs and cafes. Looking and over hearing.
I dream of angels, cigarettes and the Resurrection only three days away. He will suffer, die and be buried and on the third day I will be walking down streets. Away from everything. I will see these streets in Wen Wenders perfect black and white, until I hear her say, “It is Spring.”
Only then do I see the truth. I am alone. I take off the long black coat while walking past pubs and cafes. Restless and longing for something to fill the space between. Sad Princes and their tales of woe. Be easy, I say, there is nothing worth stealing in here.
I will gladly give it up, while waiting for the light to change.
